This Privacy Policy explains how BitPOS (“BitPOS”, “we”, “us”)
collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the BitPOS
mobile application (package com.bitpointofsale.pos), the BitPOS
web portal, and the website at
bitpointofsale.com (together, the “Service”).
BitPOS provides the software. For the business records you enter — such as your customers’ names, phone numbers and outstanding balances — you are responsible for that information and for having a lawful basis to record it. We process it on your behalf in order to operate the Service for you.

The BitPOS Android app requests internet access only, which it needs to communicate with our servers. It does not request or access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, SMS or call logs, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
If you enable reminder or receipt emails, BitPOS sends messages to the email addresses you have recorded for your customers, using your business name. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to contact those recipients. You can turn these emails off in your business settings.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
Traffic between the BitPOS app or portal and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us in plain text. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
We keep your account and business records for as long as your account is active, so that your history and reports remain available to you. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
To delete your BitPOS account and its associated data, email pakazad55@gmail.com from the email address registered to the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days. You may also request deletion of specific records instead of the whole account.
BitPOS is a business tool intended for use by adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
BitPOS is operated from Pakistan. If you use the Service from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed on servers used by BitPOS, which may be located outside your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
